Town of Hartford
Appeals Board Meeting
February 27, 2026 6pm
During this meeting we will address whether the application from Wesley Barry, U14 Lot 10, is deemed to be complete with the additional abutter information he has provided. We will also review the Planning Board record that has been distributed, to determine whether there are additional questions or matters to be addressed.
The Board will also review for approval the Thank You letter to AVCOG, with the record of attendees completing the required training session with Erica Bufkins.
Town of Hartford
Appeals Board Meeting
March 2, 2026 6:30pm
Joint Meeting Item with the Planning Board and applicant:
The HBOA will meet for a joint meeting item with the Planning Board and the applicant on Monday, March 2nd at 6:30 p.m. during the regularly scheduled Planning Board meeting.
This will be the standard HBOA informal educational session, where all parties involved with an appeal application are invited to go over the matter and freely discuss any questions or perceived issues of misunderstanding or matters requiring more clarity. The HBOA explains the process for a review, whether it is to be appellate or de novo, the ordinances and provisions which must be applied, and the timing and steps which must then be followed for the scheduling and holding of a public hearing.
Once the joint session is completed, the HBOA members will retire to the Town Hall kitchen to complete any additional business, while the Planning Board will be free to continue its regular meeting independently.
