The Hartford Select Board approved an amended fee schedule on February 3, 2026. The following fees have been updated:

Beach Parking Passes

• Resident annual parking pass: $10
• AirBnB/short-term rental annual parking pass: $100

Solar Application Fee

• Solar energy system application fee: $2,500

The Town of Hartford will hold two bulky waste drop-off days this summer:

• Saturday, June 20, 2026 - 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Saturday, June 27, 2026 - 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Location

Bring items to the large parking area near the Hartford Town Office at 1196 Main Street.

Important Information

There will be no curbside bulky waste collection this year. All bulky waste must be brought to the drop-off location during the scheduled dates and times.

Accepted Items

Bulky waste includes large items that do not fit in regular curbside trash collection, such as:

• Furniture - couches, chairs, tables, dressers
• Mattresses and box springs
• Appliances - contact the Town Office for specific guidance on appliance disposal
• Large household items

Not Accepted

The following items are not accepted at bulky waste drop-off:

• Hazardous waste - paint, chemicals, solvents, pesticides
• Tires
• Electronics - contact the Town Office for e-waste disposal options
• Construction debris - contractors are responsible for their own disposal

Fine grading and paving are scheduled to take place Friday, July 17 through Friday, July 24, weather permitting.

Please use alternate routes whenever possible to avoid delays and help ensure the safety of construction crews.
