Hartford holds its Annual Town Meeting each June. All registered voters are eligible to attend and vote on the municipal budget, ordinance changes, and other matters of town business. Special Town Meetings may be called as needed by the Select Board.

Voter Registration
Maine allows same-day voter registration. You may register to vote at the Town Office during regular hours or on Election Day at the polling place, or register to vote online through Maine.gov.
Requirements
- Must be a United States citizen
- Must be at least 18 years of age (or will be by Election Day)
- Must be a resident of Hartford
